Football season has arrived! My favorite thing about football, though, isn’t the game. My favorite thing about football has to be the snacks! Don’t judge, you know you love them too.
Here is a simple, quick and easy pasta salad recipe that anyone can make, and it is a great snack for football watching parties. We even make this one gluten free (with gluten free pasta), and it still tastes great!
What you’ll need:
1 12oz box of tri colored rotini pasta (you can double this or triple if you want, 1 box is NEVER enough)
1 7oz can of sliced olives drained (or 1 7oz can of lives and you slice them yourself)
2 medium tomatoes
1/2 of a cucumber
1/2 of a green pepper
1 1/2 cups of Zesty Italian dressing–this 3/4 of the bottle–(they also sell fat free and reduced fat, which makes it a little healthier!)
1/2 a bottle of Salad Supreme (2.62 oz bottle)
First, cook your pasta. Then drain and rinse it.
Next, dice up tomatoes, cucumber, and green pepper. These dices should be roughly half an inch by half an inch (very roughly…just make them tiny).
Then, add diced veggies, olives, Zesty Italian dressing, and Salad Supreme.
Chill, and serve!
